1st April 2025, we held our very first Annual Meeting, marking a significant milestone for our organization. More than just a gathering, it was an opportunity for every member of our team, from in-office employees to remote colleagues, to come together for a day of collaboration, reflection, and future planning.
The day began with a comprehensive morning session, replacing our usual monthly meeting. One of the most exciting moments was the introduction session, where everyone had a chance to introduce themselves. With so many new faces in the room, it was both surprising and inspiring to see how much our team had grown.
Welcoming Our New Members
A highlight of the morning was our Welcome Ceremony, where we officially introduced our newest team members. I had the chance to ask them a few questions and their answers gave us a glimpse into their journeys and passions.
Why did you decide to join NEXT-SYSTEM?
“I came across an article about pose estimation and thought it was really interesting. I reached out to the CEO, which led to me joining as an intern. After my internship, I was excited to continue working here and joined as a full-time employee.”
“I’ve always been interested in XR, and even though I graduated from college in Tokyo, my hometown is Fukuoka. When I looked into companies here, I found NEXT-SYSTEM and contacted the CEO about an internship while I was home for the summer. I didn’t get it right away, but I was invited to visit the office and eventually ended up applying for a full-time position.”
We loved hearing these stories. Their initiative to join NEXT-SYSTEM shows their dedication, and we’re happy to have both of them with us.
How do you feel after connecting with everyone at today’s annual meeting?
“It was great to finally speak with people I didn’t get to talk to much when I was an intern.”
“Everyone was so welcoming, and the friendly atmosphere left a strong impression on me. It made me feel even more glad to be part of this company.”

A Day of Reflection and Planning
Following the morning session, we divided into departmental meetings to delve deeper into specific challenges and explore potential solutions.
It was a great opportunity for everyone to share ideas, brainstorm solutions, and collaborate with people from departments they don’t normally interact with. It was refreshing to see how different perspectives can spark new ideas and create fresh energy.
We also took time to review the 2024 fiscal year’s performance and discuss our plans for the future. But above all, our focus was clear: where we’re headed, how we’ll get there, and how we’ll do it together.
Connecting in Person
One of the most meaningful moments was when the Tokyo team had the chance to meet our Fukuoka colleagues face-to-face for the very first time. While we’ve been working together for months, much of our collaboration had been through virtual meetings and screens. But nothing compares to the energy and connection that comes with meeting in person.
It was really nice to see everyone’s faces today—I think we were able to spend some meaningful time together. As part of the Sales Planning Department, I’d love for us to keep combining our strengths and turn this team into one that really drives results.

It was amazing to finally meet everyone I’ve worked with virtually for so long,” shared U, a Tokyo team member. “It feels like the bond between our teams is so much stronger now. I’m really excited about what we can achieve together moving forward.”
S, a Fukuoka team member, added, “It’s incredible how much more connected I feel now. Meeting everyone in person has brought a whole new dimension to our teamwork. It’s one thing to collaborate through a screen, but seeing each other in person really makes all the difference.”
As the day progressed, it became clear that these in-person interactions were more than just a formal meeting. They were about deepening relationships and strengthening the sense of unity within our company.
